Your home in gingerbread
Send us photos of your house and we build it in gingerbread — to scale, with the details everyone recognises: the gable, the roof, the front door, the house number. A gift for a move, an anniversary, Sinterklaas or Christmas. Also a lovely closing gift for estate agents.
How it works
- 1. Photos. Send 6–10 photos from all sides via WhatsApp. If you know the dimensions of the house, send them too.
- 2. Drawing. Within 3 working days you receive a drawing with all sides of the house, the size and the price.
- 3. Approval. You say yes and pay a 50 % deposit. That secures your slot in our planning.
- 4. Baking and decorating. Three days of handwork. You get a photo as soon as the house stands. Then we deliver it (cost calculated by destination), or you pick it up.
What you get
- Scale 1:38: the gable is 17 cm high, the house up to 36 cm long, on a wooden board of 50 × 35 cm.
- Gingerbread brickwork with white icing mortar; a roof of icing tiles.
- Sugar-glass windows with two LED lights: in the evening every window glows.
- The details that make it your house: house number, front door, chimney, window frames in the right colour, solar panels, hedge, animals in the yard.
- A sturdy box and a care card.
- 100 % edible, but made as decoration: it stays beautiful for well over a year.

Rush (delivery within 2 weeks): +20 %.
Lead time
- Three weeks after your approval. We make at most five custom houses per season.
- For Sinterklaas (5 December): approval and deposit before 10 November.
- For Christmas: approval and deposit before 25 November.
Good to know
- It is handwork in gingerbread and royal icing, not a dollhouse. Details are stylised: at 1:38 a window is 2.5 cm.
- We estimate dimensions from your photos (± 10 %). With the real measurements or your address it becomes exact.
- Allergens: gluten, egg, milk. Some details contain almond (for example a woodpile); we always agree this with you first. See our allergen information.
- We love to photograph our houses for the website and Instagram, always without address or name. Rather not? Just say so.
Frequently asked questions
Can it be another building — an office, a church, a farm?
Yes. Send photos and we make a drawing.
Can the house be shipped?
No, it is too fragile. We deliver it ourselves; the delivery cost is calculated based on the destination (outside Amsterdam at a mileage fee), or you pick it up.
How long does it stay beautiful?
As decoration well over a year, kept dry and out of the sun. If you want to eat it, do so within six months.
What if I cancel?
Until we start baking you get the deposit back minus €75 design costs; after that no longer. See the cancellation policy.
